2 years mark
It's been 2 years since we started our small taqueria and many more years of cooking trying and seeking recipes. Now our small taqueria is quite a success because of the support from our lovely customers and friends so we hold a fiesta anniversary to say thank you to them all.

International TASTE 2011
La Monita Taqueria was once again invited to participate in the International TASTE 2011 event organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand from July 22 to July 24, 2011.
We are very happy to introduce Mexican cuisine to Thai people and we got a very warm welcome from both Thai and international attendees. Thank you everyone who stopped by our booth.

La Monita Taqueria Map
Many of our customers suggested that we post a map of our restaurant on our website. Our full website is not quite ready to view yet so let me post it here.
La Monita Mexican Restaurant is located along the entrance side (for the car) of Mahatun Plaza. If you take BTS, just take the exit no.2 at Ploenchit station and walk back to Mahatun Plaza building. We are located just 2 shops down from Manhattan Cafe. In case you get lost you can call us at 02 650 9581.

Carne Asada Fries (AKA Nachos Fries)
We're proud to be the first in Thailand and probably in Asia to serve "Carne Asada Fries"!!! This particular dish is very famous in Southern California, especially San Diego and Los Angeles. Now it's a famous dish in Bangkok at La Monita Taqueria!
French fries, Carne Asada (grilled beef steak) Guacamole, sour cream and cheese, these are the items that make Nacho fries so creamy and yummy . However, if you don't eat beef we can change to pork or chicken depending on your preference. Everyone who's tried it loved it!!! So if next time you make a stop at La Monita Mexican restaurant don't forget to try our famous "Nachos Fries"
